Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Taburno Falanghina del Sannio DOP proposed by Masseria Frattasi is a product of great winemaking tradition and undoubted quality. This wine comes from the vineyards located on the Campania Apennines, more precisely in the province of Benevento, which grow luxuriant and strong on soils rich in clay and volcanic deposits. The DOP brand which the wine can boast derives from the manual processing of the product, carried out in order to guarantee the highest quality and craftsmanship. At harvest time, the best bunches of Falanghina are carefully picked by hand and subjected to dry maceration. Once the malolactic fermentation has taken place, the refinement process can begin, which lasts for at least three months in large steel tanks. Taburno Falanghina del Sannio DOP is a wine of great personality and excellent body, capable of fully sublimating the exuberant essence of Campania. Decisive and satisfying, it remains persistent in the mouth and manages to give off a pleasant sensation of freshness.
