'Vellodoro' Pecorino Terre di Chieti IGT Umani Ronchi 2022

Pecorino Vellodoro from the Umani Ronchi winery is produced with 100% Pecorino grapes, a cultivation whose goodness has only recently been rediscovered. Pecorino grape, in fact, was in the past used only for blending other wines, being an acid and very tasty grape. In recent years, however, it has finally conquered the place it deserves in the Italian wine scene, obtaining many awards, including international ones. Pecorino Vellodoro Umani Ronchi is produced on the hills of the province of Chieti, where these grapes are native, it is vinified in steel and aged in the bottle for a short period of time. Pecorino Vellodoro is a white wine to be drunk young, but which can also have a good evolution after resting for some time in the cellar, where you can leave it for at least two or three years. A fresh and joyful wine, to be combined with an aperitif or a dinner with friends, it is one of those wines that lend themselves to being easy to drink, excellent with a large variety of dishes.
