Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Vigna Ca' Guicciardi Inferno Valtellina Superiore DOCG is a red wine with intense spicy aromas, produced by the Lombard winery Nino Negri . It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Chiavennasca grapes, or the local variety of Nebbiolo. Thanks to the quartz contained in the rocks of the vineyard, this area of the valley is very bright and warmer than the surrounding context, that's the name... This allows the grapes to develop optimally and to reach full maturity. When this happens, generally around mid-October, the harvest involves meticulous manual selection. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are de-stemmed, pressed and left to ferment spontaneously. The wine ages for about a year in large wooden barrels and another six months in glass after bottling. Vigna Ca' Guicciardi Inferno Valtellina Superiore DOCG can be appreciated immediately, as well as following a further rest of 5-6 years.
