Vitovska Venezia Giulia IGT Skerk 2020

Vitovska Venezia Giulia IGT is a white wine produced by the Skerk winery, one of the most popular companies in Karst viticulture. To make this label, Vitovska grapes are vinified in purity, a local white berried variety which, on the calcareous soils in the province of Trieste, finds the perfect conditions to express itself with elegance. This vine resists the bora and also drought, thus ensuring an important yield. Once the perfect degree of ripeness has been reached, the bunches are gently pressed and left to ferment spontaneously. The rooms dug into the limestone allow the subsequent aging in oak barrels to take place in an optimal environment. During vinification, no filtration or clarification is carried out, with a view to obtaining a pure and authentic final result. The freshness of Vitovska Venezia Giulia IGT can be appreciated immediately, as well as after 3-4 years of rest in the cellar.
