'VT Vendemmia Tardiva' Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Capichera 2021

Vendemmia Tardiva from the renowned Gallura winery Capichera is a white wine with the Isola dei Nuraghi Typical Geographical Indication. A Vermentino to try, produced in an area, that of Gallura, which has earned a respectable place in the island's wine production. Obtained from 100% Vermentino grapes, this white wine captures the most intimate characteristics of a land of sea and granite, the same that are transmitted to the vines and from these to the bunches and berries. The Vendemmia Tardiva is one of the maximum expressions of the whites signed Capichera. The result of the blending of different wines from individual vineyards grown within the historic estate. Produced from late harvested grapes, this special Vermentino is made for the first time in the history of the island, after the traditional vinification in steel, with an aging in French oak barriques for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 8 months. The result is an original Vermentino with great drinkability, a dry, warm, intense white wine with excellent persistence. This Vermentino can age in the cellar for 10-25 years.
