Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

This grape variety has been successfully cultivated for a long time in the Terlano DOC area, especially around older farms, although it is of French origin. Harvest and selection of the grapes takes place manually. Delicate whole bunch pressing and racking by natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place slowly, at a controlled temperature, in stainless steel tanks. Aging for 5-7 months on the fine lees partly in stainless steel barrels (80%) and partly in large wooden barrels (20%) and then the assembly takes place about a month before bottling. Winkl Sauvignon Blanc is a savory, slightly fruity and mineral wine, which has been vinified alone since 1956. It is rich and intense, complex in its aromas and full-bodied. Particularly affects the ease of drinking which makes it extremely pleasant.
