Midi Pyrenees 

The French region of Midi-Pyrénées offers many varieties of grapes and wines. With an advantageous climate, favored by sunny weather and excellent soil which favors the growth of grapes, the region also boasts excellent distillates such as the most famous Armagnac . This region borders the major winegrowing areas of France (Bordeaux and Languedoc).  Midi-Pyrenees offers 5 AOC wines at very competitive prices. The best known products of the region are Cahors , Fronton , Gaillac , Madiran , Pacherenc and Saint-Mont wines. The most famous wines of Midi-Pyrénées are the celebrated Gaillac , Cahors , Bergerac and Montbazillac . Even the lesser known wines are excellent and so it's good to be curious when it comes to wines and the south of France!
