Taurasi

It is a truly important wine, structured, above all tannic, produced with the Aglianico vine which finds a happy home in Campania and, above all, in Basilicata. Its power must be tamed, smoothed, refined and in fact the Disciplinary provides for aging (both in wooden barrels and in bottles for at least 3 years). Taurasi , in its Taurasi and Taurasi Riserva typologies, is a wine endowed with strength, elegant and austere but at the same time balanced and tannic. At the beginning Taurasi is rather sharp, rough, tannic, but this makes it suitable for a long ageing, also thanks to its great minerality, its good alcohol content, its great body which find their perfect balance after a long aging in bottle.
