Andalucia

This splendid region covers all of southern Spain and has a viticulture deeply rooted over the centuries: someone even defines it as "extreme", especially for the climatic conditions: very hot in summer, prolonged drought, with strong temperature variations between day and the night. Certainly the best known wines are Jerez-Xérès-Sherry , Brandy of Jerez , Osborne wine , Fino di Tio Pepe which have made the wine-growing area of the province of Cadiz known worldwide. These brands have managed to give an identity to the territory, transmitting value and international fame. The DOP wine " Manzanilla of Sanlúcar de Barrameda", on the other hand, is a straw yellow wine of 15 degrees, with a pungent aroma, dry, light on the palate, not very acidic and very popular especially during the various Ferias (fairs) of the provinces of Seville and Cadiz. The province of Malaga is another large wine territory. The PDOs “Malaga” and “Sierras de Malaga” contain a very high number of excellent white and red wines , some even for table. Certainly the best known wine is Cartojal , a sweet wine made with Moscato d'Alessandria grapes.
