Men, like lands, have a vocation. Thus it was that a boy of about fifteen had the dazzling intuition of what a life lived in the light of his project could be. The meeting between the very young Maurizio Zanella and the sweetness of Franciacorta, when his mother moved to Erbusco and planted the first vineyard, was the first contact of what would be the love of a lifetime. But it is after a trip to Champagne, whose destination is the famous maisons where the wine that has always fascinated and ignites the imagination is born, that Maurizio returns with the unshakable idea of creating something similar. What was once a house immersed in a chestnut forest has been transformed into one of the most modern and advanced wineries in Italy. Since then, a single principle has defined the essence of Ca' del Bosco: the pursuit of excellence. The history of Ca' del Bosco is the plot of a dream that has become reality, day after day, thanks to hard work and a constant and tireless search for quality . Thanks to its extraordinary success, Ca' del Bosco has seen its vineyard heritage expand and extend into 8 different municipalities in Franciacorta. Old pergola-trained plants alternate with more modern and productive plants, depending on the characteristics of the soil. Management based on increasingly sustainable practices has led this wonderful winery to undertake the organic conversion of several plots. In the cellar it is even possible to visit an area dedicated to art and sculpture, strongly desired by Maurizio Zanella, convinced that the union between wine and art could create a magic circle.
