Produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, the Diamond Collection Yellow Label California Sauvignon is the perfect expression of the Monterey, California terroir. This white wine arrives on the market from an exceptional maison, the Francis Ford Coppola Winery. The history of the winery reflects the eclectic personality of its founder, the famous film director. In 2006 the Coppola family bought the historic property of Château Souverain, in California. Supported by an expert winemaker and winemaker Corey Beck, they start production with the aim of creating an environment where you can enjoy the joys of life, wine and good food. With their temperate climate, the Monterey vineyards produce a balanced wine that combines acidity and typical fruity notes of the region. The vinification is treated in detail for this Diamond Collection Yellow Label California Sauvignon. The bunches are pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels. It ages in French oak barrels for 9 months. The wine is therefore very rich, intense, notes of ripe fruit and vanilla emerge with elegance, revealing a very interesting structure and gustatory balance. It is a wine that does not stop only as an aperitif, it can easily accompany white meats and baked fish. Very pleasant!
