'Moro del Moro' Emilia IGT Rinaldini 2018

Il Moro del Moro Emilia IGT is one of the finest wines offered by the Rinaldini winery, an appreciated winery in Emilia. The red wine comes from the combination of two dark grape varieties grown on the company's estates, namely 60% Lambrusco and 40% Ancellotta. An experiment long cultivated by the Rinaldini family, which took several decades to enhance the production technique with Lambrusco grapes. The secret of the product therefore lies in the careful selection of the best bunches, which during the harvest are carefully selected and placed on racks for drying. Once the grains have been destemmed and pressed, the refinement takes place, which lasts for almost 3 years in French oak barrels, partly new and partly already used. Il Moro del Moro Emilia IGT is a wine capable of giving enthusiasts excellent drinkability and also a great elegance of structure. The color is impenetrable purplish red, with violet reflections on the edge. The bouquet is deep, ethereal, with nuances of ripe red berry fruit, with notes of spices in a harmonious seduction. On the palate it is warm, fruity brushstrokes are found, combined with velvety but thick tannins, presenting an incredible and elegant balance that invites slow and meditative drinking. Thanks to its intense flavor it is perfect for a dinner with friends, but it is also well suited to meditation in the living room.
