'The Defenses' Tuscany IGT Tenuta San Guido 2022

The Le Difese red wine from the Tenuta San Guido winery is produced along the Livorno coast, precisely in a district with a very high wine vocation such as that of Bolgheri. It is the result of the skilful blend of two grape varieties: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Sangiovese. Vinified in steel, it is then aged for about a year in French and American oak barriques. After this period it is left to rest for another 3 months in the bottle. Le Difese is a well-structured and very pleasant wine, an easy-to-drink wine, suitable for all palates and for many occasions. Of course, it goes perfectly with traditional Tuscan dishes, but also as an accompaniment to a classic Italian aperitif or antipasto. We remind you that the Tenuta San Guido winery produces the famous Sassicaia and this wine is an excellent product that meets different tastes, ideal for getting to know and savoring this famous company and for gradually approaching the top-of-the-range wines.
