Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Among the most characteristic labels of the Nittardi estate is the Toscana Rosso IGT Ad Astra, a wine that perfectly represents its homeland, the Maremma. Even its name, moreover, is indicative since it derives from the Latin proverb "Per Aspera Ad Astra" or "through the asperities to the stars" with which the producers wanted to indicate how, to create a great wine, a lot of hard work is needed . At the Mongibello delle Mandorlaie vineyards located south of Scansano, not far from the sea, seven different vines are grown, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Alicante Bouchet, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. They enjoy a particular terroir, characterized by a typical sandstone rock, the Macigno del Chianti, which leads the plants to seek water and nutrients in depth. The Toscana Rosso IGT Ad Astra is born from a perfect blend of 45% Sangiovese grapes, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and to a lesser extent Syrah and Merlot; it is a complex and structured wine, with a ruby red colour, to be drunk young.
