'Calafuria' Salento Rosato IGT Tormaresca - Antinori 2022 MAGNUM Boxed

This extraordinary Salento rosé (among the best productions in Italy, as a type of wine) is produced with 100% Negramaro grapes. coming from the Maime estate in San Pietro Vernotico (BR) characterized by a decidedly high temperature trend and frequent rainfall, especially in the months of June and August. The grapes are selected by hand, delicately destemmed and softly pressed. The must obtained is placed in stainless steel tanks, in order to obtain a natural decantation. Subsequently the grafting of the alcoholic fermentation which is carried out at low temperatures to keep the primary aromas intact. A short period of aging in steel follows. Peony pink in the glass. Intense and delicate bouquet, with fragrant notes of peach, grapefruit and floral notes of violet. It is soft, pleasant acidity, excellent balance and prolonged aromatic persistence. Very good!
