Bodega Alta Vista
Information
Region: Argentina
Address: Alzaga 3972, Chacras de Coria, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza (Argentina)

Argentine panache and French refinement meet in the wine production of Bodega Alta Vista. Based in Chacras de Coria, a few kilometers from the city of Mendoza, in the heart of the truest Argentina, the winery was founded in 1998 and since its first production has stood out for the creation of authentic wines. At the helm of the winery, the D'Aulans family, of French origin, who combines respect for the work of the land with the use of cutting-edge technologies with an eye always attentive to the quality of the products and the valorisation of each terroir owned by the 'agency. From Alizarine to Azamor, from Temis to Albaneve, the vineyards in the hands of the D'Aulans family offer different characteristics that you need to know how to exploit. And in this, Bodega Alta Vista boasts a notable ability to differentiate work in the vineyard: through the technique defined as Terroir Management, it manages to get the best out of each location, capturing and enhancing the benefits that each different terrain offers to wine production. In particular, among the vines from which Alta Vista wines are born, the typically Argentine qualities of Malbec and Torrontés stand out. The full-bodied structures and enveloping aromas of these wines are also accompanied by blend proposals, in which selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fragrant Bonarda varieties and juicy Petit Verdot grains are mixed. Thanks to its French origins, the Bodega Alta Vista winery also excels in the production of sparkling wines: the prestigious Domaine Scintillante line includes notable examples, in which effervescence and acidity are in perfect balance, thanks to production techniques of ancient French tradition. While the first wine signed by the Bodega in 1998, the Alta Vista Alto, still represents the emblem of the winery today, the D'Aulans family's ability to innovate has allowed the development of interesting modern collections. Examples of this are the bottles of the Vive line, in which Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Torrontés grapes lend themselves to fruity and graceful interpretations, proposed in intriguing white, red and rosé winemakings.
