The Tariquet story dates back to the end of the nineteenth century, when Artaud, having left France for America to try his luck, suddenly decided to return to his homeland. Together with his son Jean Pierre he gathered the resources to buy the house in Tariquet where, due to phylloxera, only seven hectares of vineyards remained. They worked hard to restore the viticultural vocation to Tariquet, together with their four children, starting to produce Bas-Armagnac and white wines. Each is a truly important reality in France, both in terms of production and quality. Exciting wines and spirits, sold all over the world with great success.
