Martini

Founded as a national distillery by four Turin residents way back in 1847, Martini was taken over by Alessandro Martini and Luigi Rossi in 1863; with the creation of the first historic vermouth in 1864; already in 1868 the company could boast the Savoy shield on the label, as the official supplier of the King of Italy. Originality, craftsmanship, but also innovation have always been in the company's "DNA" and production philosophy, jealously preserving what was the historical recipe of the famous Martini Rosso, created by the founders and inspired by the fragrances of the time, up to the present day. ours, investing in the territory and in the skills of the best Italian blenders and herbalists, such as Beppe Musso and Ivano Tonutti, the only two people in the world who know the secret family recipes. The connection with the area surrounding Turin is still visceral and fundamental for Martini; every year around three hundred small producers collaborate with the company to produce and select the white Moscato, also called "gold of the hills", essential for the production of the current labels. Over the years, Martini has also carried out a unique commercial and advertising work, founding the famous "Terrazza Martini", places initially created to communicate the existence of the company and which soon became a symbol, throughout the world, of aggregation and a point of meeting for figures from politics, culture and entertainment and, regarding the latter, iconic throughout the world is the phrase uttered by Sean Connery's James Bond, "A Martini, shaken, not stirred". Today Martini, also thanks to the merger with the Bacardi brand which took place in the nineties, presents a wider range of products, which are increasingly original and captivating.
