In an area with an ancient wine-growing vocation, one of the best wine-growing areas of Abruzzo or the Teramane Hills, Luigi Valori has been cultivating the typical native vines of the area for over 30 years on marvelous soils, characterized by excellent exposures, geologically suitable to the cultivation of the vine and rich in substances that nourish the plants, giving them the possibility of generating truly qualitative fruit.
We are located a few kilometers from the sea, still surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, but so close to the steep slopes of the Gran Sasso d'Abruzzo. Here the Cambiami Quando Piève – Valori winery extends over 14 hectares, between the municipalities of Sant'Omero and Controguerra, producing around 125,000 bottles a year, creating 5 labels, including young wines and reserves with strong attention to local grapes.
The name of the company already indicates Luigi's philosophy of life and thought: Call me when it rains, it means "when you can't work in the vineyard", therefore the desire to rediscover time and its value: the need to give the right space for the times of nature and those of man, for work and for human relationships.
The search for quality in wines, but also for their authenticity, through the most innovative techniques, with an eye to environmental sustainability, represent the essence of the company, which makes respect (360 degrees) its flag. Here is therefore the conscious and convinced choice to embrace innovative organic agriculture which, through safe and quality products, contributes to spreading a healthy and above all sustainable lifestyle.
