The La Toledana winery is located in Gavi , the area most suited to the production of the great Piedmontese white obtained from Cortese grapes. The ancient villa which gives its name to the winery, was built in the 16th century, subject to expansions and restorations in subsequent centuries, and today dominates the estate surrounded by Cortese vineyards. The particularly favorable climate of this area, always windy, sunny and with mild temperatures influenced by the breezes that come from the nearby Ligurian Sea, is a fundamental element for optimal maturation of the grapes that will give rise to the extraordinary wines of the cellar. The La Toledana winery, with constant and careful work aimed at seeking quality, has been able to further enhance this extraordinary native vine, the Cortese, the undisputed protagonist of the Gavi area, obtaining wines that enhance and transmit the character and uniqueness of this wonderful territory.
