It is one of the most important Italian wineries and is a reference for those who love southern wines. Dedicated to the cultivation of vines for at least four generations, the Librandis have been bottling their wines since the 1950s and have now achieved international fame and prestige. Under the guidance of the brothers Antonio and Nicodemo, the winery has established itself as the authentic driving and innovative force of Calabrian viticulture. After having re-evaluated the Cirò tradition and explored the potential of international vines in Calabria in the 1980s, starting from the following decade the company carried out a fundamental work of rediscovery and selection of ancient Calabrian vines, enhancing their qualities in wines with great charm. As mentioned, the choice of grapes is based above all on local varieties, such as Gaglioppo or "black prince", a grape that has been cultivated for hundreds of years in the area.

The various Cirò , Asylia , Gravello , Critone testify to the validity of Librandi production: maximum attention to production in the vineyard, but above all continuous research and experimentation, aimed at valorising the territory, its ancient vines and its traditions.
