This red wine, the Diamond Collection Ivory Label California Cabernet Sauvignon, comes from Francis Ford Coppola Winery. Wine has always been a family passion, ever since Francis' grandfather, Agostino Coppola, dedicated himself to the production of a few bottles, as a hobby, in the cellar of his apartment in New York. Therefore, the creation of the Francis Ford Coppola Winery is not surprising, with the purchase of land by the great film director of Italian origin in the county of Sonoma in California. Together with the counties of Napa Valley and Mendocino, Sonoma is part of a territory with a high vocation for wine with geographical conditions and an ideal microclimate. The Diamond Collection Ivory Label California Cabernet Sauvignon is the result of the assembly of three grape varieties, 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah and Segalin. A complex and delicate mix, made with grapes from vineyards that are very different from each other in terms of soil composition and climate. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months, this red is characterized by a ruby color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of blackberry and cherry, enriched by pleasant notes of anise, cloves and toasted coffee. On the palate it is complex and structured, rightly tannic.
