Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Tenuta San Guido's Guidalberto is a great red wine classified as Toscana IGT. It is produced by the San Guido estate in Tuscany, in the splendid Bolgheri countryside. Here, the climate mitigated by the proximity to the sea and the hills that protect the vineyards from the winds are crucial for obtaining healthy grapes with correct ripening. The Guidalberto Tenuta San Guido wine is produced using 60% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 40% Merlot grapes. These vines of French origin, now widespread all over the world, have found in this part of Tuscany the conditions to express themselves at their best, giving life to an exceptional, well-structured and balanced wine, with a great aging capacity. The harvest takes place during the month of September. The fermentation takes place in steel containers, while the refinement begins in the wooden barriques and is completed in the bottle. This wine that stands out for its intensity, elegance and persistence will best enhance the characteristics of the main courses. It is an elegant and intense wine, born from the desire to produce a younger wine than Sassicaia, also adding Merlot grapes. After 15 months of aging in barrique, it is expressed in a bouquet of wild berries, coffee, spices and Mediterranean scrub. The sip is fruity, full, solid and persistent. Endowed with great balance, it has an excellent aging capacity.
