Description

The Premium Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC red wine produced by the historic Emilian winery Cleto Chiarli is the perfect synthesis of a high quality product. It is no coincidence that the Premium well represents the famous Lambrusco which in the distant 1900 obtained the authoritative Mention Honorable at the Exposition Universelle in Paris. Result of the vinification of 100% Lambrusco di Sorbara grapes, this dry red wine has obtained several awards, including the two Gambero Rosso glasses. A careful selection and harvesting of the grapes is followed by a light maceration, then the must is drawn off and refrigerated, after which a slow fermentation begins in cuvée close, according to the dictates of the Martinotti Method, introduced in Emilia Romagna by the Chiarli winery in way back in 1959. After the second fermentation, the Premium Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC ages on its lees for 3 months before being bottled. The result is a wine with character, balanced, dry, elegant and delicate, which stands out for its freshness and its pleasant sapidity.
