Abbazia di Rosazzo DOCG is a wine produced in the Livio Felluga winery in Cormons, in the province of Gorizia. The company has been one of the most important realities in Friuli for many generations. The grapes come from the blending of Tocai, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon, Malvasia and Ribolla Gialla vines, grown on soil rich in marl and sandstone and favored by the temperate climate. The grapes are harvested by hand and left to macerate for a short period, after which they are pressed. The must obtained is fermented in stainless steel containers and then transferred into oak barrels, where it completes the alcoholic fermentation and begins the malolactic one. Before being bottled, it is kept on the lees in order to increase its "creaminess". Abbazia Di Rosazzo DOCG is a complex and structured wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but can rest in the cellar for a few years without problems
