Aphrodisium Passito Vendemmia Tardiva Lazio IGT is a sweet wine from Casale del Giglio , an important winery in the Agro Pontino. This wine is obtained from a particular blend, made up of Greco, Fiano, Viognier and Petit Manseng grapes. The unprecedented combination of these native and French varieties manages to give life to a very particular label. In the vineyard, the grapes are grown according to the natural rhythms of the vine through rigorous processes. Thanks to the action of the nearby breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea, the grapes dry in an optimal way on the rows (appassimento en vine) before being subjected to a late harvest. In the cellar, the vinification begins with a spontaneous fermentation inside large steel tanks equipped with devices to regulate the temperature. For the subsequent refinement, the company always chooses steel, to be able to preserve freshness. The nose is a floral wine. In the mouth it is a nectar, but it does not lack freshness and elegance.
