'Borgeri' Bolgheri Rosso DOC Giorgio Meletti Cavallari 2021

Borgeri Bolgheri Rosso DOC is a red wine produced by the Tuscan winery Giorgio Meletti Cavallari . The label is the fruit of a blend that includes Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, both present respectively for 40%, with a small addition of Syrah. The vineyards are located near Castagneto Carducci, where the soils rich in minerals offer great nourishment to the vines. The manual harvest allows to identify only the best bunches. Once in the cellar, the grapes are placed in cold maceration for a maximum of two days. Fermentation follows in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The refinement involves two distinct phases, the first of which provides for 6 months of rest in oak barriques at the second passage. The wine then seals its scents 8 months in glass after bottling. Excellent immediately, Borgeri Bolgheri Rosso DOC can be tasted with satisfaction following a further evolution of 3 or 4 years.
