Description
Cabernet Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a red wine produced by the Zorzettig winery. The label is the result of the 100% vinification of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, a variety of Bordeaux origin widespread internationally. On the hilly plots this vine finds the ideal conditions to thrive, thanks to the presence of clay and sandstone, as well as the mineral richness of the substrate. Once ripe, only the best bunches pass the manual selection and are transported to the cellar. Here the grapes are destemmed and then placed to ferment in large stainless steel tanks. In the same containers the wine ages until the spring following the harvest. Cabernet Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC can be appreciated with satisfaction immediately, as well as after a further evolution of a couple of years.
