'Critone' Val di Neto Bianco IGT Librandi 2021

The white wine Val di Neto Bianco IGT Critone of the Librandi winery is obtained from 90% Chardonnay grapes and Sauvignon grapes for the remaining 10%. For over 50 years this winery has been one of the most important realities in Calabria, with an ever-high attention paid to the quality and enhancement of local products. The clayey and calcareous soils of the Calabrian hills allow the vines to develop perfectly, also thanks to the favorable climatic conditions, which ensure the production of excellent quality grapes. The harvest begins early, roughly between the end of August and the first week of September and after a soft pressing of the grapes, the wine is made directly in thermodynamic steel tanks. The production process continues with a first refinement in steel and a subsequent one directly in the bottle. In this way a fresh and medium-bodied wine is obtained which is characterized by light fruity aromas and hints of mineral salts. Ideal for a dinner with friends.
