Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Banfi's Rosso Cum Laude was born in Tuscany, the world's winemaking homeland. It comes to life in the municipality of Montalcino, in the province of Siena, in a unique territory for crops scattered mostly in hilly areas where precious wooded areas and flat expanses are grafted, equally important for the creation of the local microclimate. In the lands of Montalcino the soil is sedimentary in nature, it is characterized by layers of clay from an era dating back 15 million years ago and has ventilation and a panorama that give Banfi's Rosso Cum Laude a unique character. The vineyards to which it belongs are linked to an ancient historical and cultural tradition. Made from a composition of fine grapes, it is composed of 30% Merlot grapes, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 25% Sangiovese grapes and 15% Syrah grapes. Following a meticulous and hand-picked harvest, the fermentation process begins in stainless steel tanks, stabilized at a controlled temperature of 22°C. Once the fermentation cycle is completed, the wine is transferred to special barriques for an aging of 6 months, following which it reaches the bottling where it will rest for a further 6 months. This is a complex and well-structured wine of medium ageing.
