Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
The Forno Freisa d'Asti DOC is characterized by an original and well-defined stylistic code. Cascina Gilli , the winery that produces it, has accustomed us since its inception to exclusive wines full of personality. Flowing and elegant, it is a red that comes from the vinification of the Freisa grape, a little-known, but very interesting native Piedmontese vine. The company vineyards of Castelnuovo Don Bosco, in Monferrato, have their roots in a soil rich in marl and clay, two elements that give the grapes a fine quality and a good alcohol content. The rest of the work is done by the mild climate, but full of temperature variations. In the cellar, vinification has two objectives: to limit the transfer of tannin, widely present in Freisa, and to maximize the typical vivacity of the grape. After aging in large steel barrels, the Forno Freisa d'Asti DOC is ready to be bottled. Equipped with a smooth drinkability and a persistent final phrasing, it lends itself without problems to good aging.
