Langhe DOC Nebbiolo Chiara Boschis - E. Pira ' Sons 2019 MAGNUM

Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is a label with an elegant vein and intense aromas, created by the Chiara Boschis - E. Pira & Figli winery with practices aimed at enhancing the territory. It comes from Nebbiolo grapes vinified in purity, coming from the renowned Langhe DOC denomination. The vines are grown on soils composed of calcareous-clayey marl interspersed with traces of sandstone. The climate is unique, as the territory is between the Po Valley and the Alps which protect it from the strong Atlantic currents. The conditions are therefore ideal for the optimal development of the grapes which reach maturity towards the end of September. In this period the harvest operations take place, carried out only with manual methods. The must ferments spontaneously in steel containers, then it is transferred to barriques, where it ages for 14 months. Nebbiolo Langhe DOC , after a short rest in the bottle, is ready to be drunk with great satisfaction; however it can age for a few more years in the cellar.
