Among the labels of Tenuta Fertuna there is also the Maremma Toscana Rosso DOC Lodai wine produced from vines grown on the farm's land, in the province of Grosseto, where the particular terroir and the microclimate that enjoys the proximity of the sea, contribute to producing grapes of high quality. It is one of the estate's most representative wines, so much so that its name is linked to a spontaneous exclamation of the producers, "laudemus", which occurred after tasting the first vintage. It is made from the assembly of 50% Sangiovese, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot grapes which, after the harvest and a traditional vinification process, are aged in barriques for 12 months and refined in the bottle for at least another 6 months before marketing. the Maremma Toscana Rosso DOC Lodai wine is a great red, with an intense ruby color, full-bodied and persistent, perfectly balanced and elegant. The Magnum version, then, lends itself perfectly as a gift for special occasions or in the case of particularly important lunches or dinners. A wine for true connoisseurs.
