For many years now the Siddùra winery has been synonymous with Sardinian wines of excellence, made with the highest quality. In the cellar there is the awareness that grapes are the fundamental part in the creation of an excellent wine, therefore all the processes are carried out by expert hands, with professionalism, passion and respect for nature and the products that it offers every year. In addition to the desire to innovate, Siddùra also places emphasis on tradition and the natural and respectful cultivation of native vines, such as Vermentino and Cannonau, the undisputed protagonists of a new way of making wine in Sardinia. For Siddùra the best way to produce quality wines is to start from the base, that is, from the vineyard. We therefore achieve low yields and strictly manual harvests to choose only the best bunches. All operations after the harvest are carried out in the underground cellar, the fermentations are mainly spontaneous and, depending on the type of wine, the use of cement tanks, oak barrels and terracotta amphorae is used, in full respect of the variety and of the terroir, with the aim of enhancing the purity of the fruit and giving a clear and modern, but above all faithful interpretation of the territory. Among the best territorial expressions we find the Vermentino di Gallura DOC “Spèra” and the Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG “Maia”. The first is young, fresh and fragrant, while the second is complex, savory and intense, thanks to the light aging in barriques. As for the reds we have the Siddùra Cannonau di Sardegna DOC “Erema”, lively and fruity, passing through the complex, full-bodied and spicy Cannonau di Sardegna DOC “Fòla” and ending with the rare, fruity and intriguing Cagnulari “Bacco”, multi-awarded by specialized critics. Truly extraordinary wines.
