GARLIDER

All the authenticity and freshness of the Alpine climate of Alto Adige are released from the bottles of the Garlider winery. Genuine but classy wines, with a strong character and strongly oriented towards enhancing the goodness and generosity of the land from which they come, make up the collections created by this family-run farm led by the young and talented Christian Kerschbaumer. The winery is located on the Velturno plateau from which it dominates the large green expanses of the Isarco Valley. The winemaking activities take place within the charming family farm and embrace the fruits of 4 hectares of land planted with vines. Using traditional techniques, fully embracing organic cultivation methods and making full use of the richness of the land, the Garlider family produces bottles of wine with a unique character, perfectly capable of reflecting the particularity of the noble terroirs of the Alpine territory. Confirming the high quality of the wines produced, the most prestigious awards shine which, since 2004, have valorised Garlider productions year after year: Gambero Rosso, the Epresso Guides and the Guide to the Best Wines of Italy do not fail to reserve citations , glasses and high scores to the bottles of the cellar. The vineyards worked by the Garliders are dedicated to the cultivation and enhancement of native vines. The rows of family vineyards include a single red grape variety, the prized Pinot Noir from which the velvety wine, originally from Burgundy, is bottled, and numerous white grape varieties: Sylvaner, Müller Thurgau and Grüner Veltliner represent the fuller-bodied productions, which is also flanked by vineyards of Gewürztraminer and the exclusive Rülander vine, known to most as Pinot Grigio.
