Diesel Farm

The story of Diesel Farm seems to tell us that entrepreneurial genius in a sector such as textiles can also be transmitted with the same excellent results to the field of oenology. Making use of the right collaborators and his vision, Renzo Rosso has transformed his love for good wine and his land of origin into a quality production reality. With the advice of the esteemed Roberto Cipresso, the Diesel Farm winery has specialized in the creation of three labels with a common denominator. In fact, they have names that recall the fashion and creative spirit of the founder: Nero di Rosso, Rosso di Rosso and Bianco di Rosso. The bottles stamped directly on the glass have manual numbering and are inspired by ancient Madeira bottles. A curiosity that links them is given by a recurring detail: the packages contain five bottles and the cork has a diameter of five centimeters. Such is Renzo Rosso's dedication to his lucky number that it can be found everywhere: a real gem for lovers of the Diesel world. The vineyards are located in an area that is as fortunate for textiles as for viticulture: the Breganze area in the province of Vicenza, in fact, proves ideal for producing high quality wines and Diesel Farm is certainly no exception. By virtue of the strong bond with his territory, Rosso chose the hills surrounding Marostica for his company, where there is not only a cellar equipped with all the latest technological features, but also offices and homes for the employees. The vineyards occupy an area of approximately six hectares and boast excellent southern exposure. Here the classic Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are grown, alongside two particularities (for the area): Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Wines certainly much appreciated and with a truly original approach.
