Revì

The Revì winery was born in the heart of one of the most suitable places for Italian sparkling wines, namely Trentino. The history of this small but talented winery was born in 1982 by a young oenologist, Paolo Malfer, who developed a passion for the production of bubbles at a very young age, after having accidentally found and read a book entitled "How to produce champagne ”; the electrocution is immediate! After the first experiments and the diploma from the prestigious oenological institute of San Michele all'Adige, he began working on a small production of Classic Method sparkling wines. Soon the wines were increasingly appreciated by the public and critics and today the winery, run by the founder's wife and sister-in-law, namely Carmen Tomasi and Giovanna Bertoldi, has managed to produce around 40,000 bottles a year. Out of curiosity, the name Revì derives from a specific area of the estate which popular tradition attests to being a place where the grapes are capable of giving life to a wine worthy of a King: 'Re vin'. Certainly the grapes grown are the classic ones of the Trentino tradition, as regards sparkling wines, namely Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which grow in an ideal environment, between 200 and 450 meters above sea level, well mitigated by the cool mountain climate. There are 5 labels currently produced by Revì and, naturally, they are all Classic Method sparkling wines which have the ambition of best representing the Trentodoc tradition also through long aging on the yeasts ranging from 36 to 75 months. Sparkling wines capable of combining softness and elegance, finesse, fragrance and flavor in the glass, fundamental elements for the perfect success of a Trento Doc.
