Fontodi

The Fontodi winery, located in the heart of Chianti Classico, in Panzano in Tuscany, is one of the most prestigious and awarded companies in the region. Founded in 1968 by Giovanni Manetti, a Tuscan industrialist, Fontodi has become synonymous with oenological excellence and also with respect for the environment. The winery extends over an area of 100 hectares and includes Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino and Merlot vineyards, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. Finally, the Flaccianello IGT Toscana is a true Supertuscan. The Fontodi winery has been recognized internationally for its quality and commitment to protecting the environment, receiving numerous awards and recognitions. These include the "Winemaker of the Year" award in 2006 and the "Wine of the Year" award in 2012 for its Chianti Classico Riserva. The cellar is open to the public for visits and tastings, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the art of wine production and appreciate the cellar's wines.
