The Le Cinciole winery is a rather recent reality in the Tuscan wine scene, it was in fact founded in 1991 by Luca Orsini and his wife, Valeria Viganò; a winery that, still today, they carry on with passion and dedication. We are in the heart of " Chiantishire " and precisely in Panzano in Chianti . The estate consists of approximately 10 hectares of vineyards, with an average altitude of around 400 metres. The entire property is organically managed , a choice (in every sense!) of the Orsini family with the aim of making healthy, clean wines and preserving the environment for future generations, therefore reducing chemicals to a minimum of synthesis, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Clearly the vine chosen to enhance the terroir of the area is Sangiovese , which excels in the production of Chianti Classico , even if at a later stage they wanted to introduce international vine varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon , Syrah and Merlot . With the aim of constantly improving, Le Cinciole aims for its production to seek quality while respecting traditional techniques and, we reiterate, with minimal environmental impact. No chemical fertilization is foreseen, while compost and products of organic origin are used, always with a view to organic production. Chianti is clearly the protagonist wine of the production of this small but valiant winery; even the "base" version is aged in oak barrels to enhance the characteristics of the vine and to enhance the aromas and sensoriality of this splendid wine. For the Reserve , the best Sangiovese grapes from the best vineyards are selected and the refinement, in this case, takes place first in barrique and then in the bottle, in order to obtain the complexity and elegance typical of aging wines. A curiosity: the name of the winery refers to a specific location in the area, whose toponym is even of Etruscan-Roman origin.
