Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Description

Hermitage Monier La Sizeranne is a red wine signed by the Chapoutier Michel winery, born and operating in the Vallée du Rhône. The vine that gives life to this red is Syrah. Most of its qualities and characteristics derive from the territory from which it comes which is made up of three types of soil, one of which is of granite origin and the other two stony. The particularity of the Hermitage Monier La Sizeranne also lies in the production process. Following the harvest, in which the grapes are harvested strictly by hand, the grapes are vinified in cement tanks. Then follows a maturation in oak barrels for twelve/fourteen months. On the palate it is a round, elegant wine with a good balance of tannins. It is advisable to taste it young in order to grasp and appreciate its fragrance and freshness, its ease of drinking and the pleasantness of the fruit. An important added value of this important winery is the absolute respect for nature: for this reason, the company produces its wines following the principles of agriculture and biodynamic production.
