Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

The Toscana Rosso IGT Pactio is one of the symbolic wines of the Fertuna estate. This winery is located in Grilli, a small town in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. On one hundred and forty-five hectares of predominantly stony land, also rich in silt and clay, various varieties of vines are grown. The red in question is made up of 60% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Merlot; the grapes needed to produce it grow flourishing and luxuriant, thanks to the efficient drip irrigation system with which the vineyard is equipped. Once the harvest has been carried out, the harvest is transferred to the cellar for vinification; the must obtained from the blending of these three vines is left to ferment in oak barrels for about four months, to then spend a short period refining in the bottle. The Toscana Rosso IGT Pactio obtained in this way is a well-structured, soft but intense wine, with an aging potential of about five years after its release.
