Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Fiano di Avellino DOCG Pietracalda of the Irpinia Feudi di San Gregorio winery is an extraordinary white wine produced with 100% Fiano grapes. The same ones that contain the most authentic flavors of Irpinia. A truly noble white with strong references to the tradition of an ancient land. Pietracalda is a successful wine, which has won several awards from critics in the sector, including that of Slowine who defined it as an excellent wine. This white wine belongs to the special Selections line developed by the winery. Produced from a careful selection of grapes, Fiano di Avellino DOCG Pietracalda is the result of a vinification in steel, followed by maturation in the same containers on its lees for a period of 4-5 months. The result is a fresh wine that well represents Irpinia, a white of medium structure, rich, balanced and with a pleasant persistence. A high level label, excellent when young and quite interesting if left to rest in the cellar for 2 or 3 years.
