It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Roero Rosso Classico from the Malvirà winery is a rare expression of Piedmontese reds waiting to be discovered. This extremely particular red wine is obtained by vinifying Nebbiolo grapes in purity which, in the Roero area, guarantee excellent results. This wine represents one of the latest arrivals in the production of the Malvirà company, which wanted to seek an excellent quality/price ratio in this product that could bring as many consumers as possible closer to a wine that nevertheless embodies all the characteristics of Nebbiolo: austere, tannic, but also elegant, fine, fascinating. After fermenting in steel, the Roero Rosso Classico is left to mature in wooden barrels for about twenty months and then left to refine directly in the bottle. The result is a red wine with immediate and pleasant drinkability, which never loses its elegance. Precisely for this reason it is ideal to be enjoyed after bottling, but it can give excellent results even after a few years of ageing.
