'Terebinth' Cricket Sicily Menfi DOC Planet 2021

Terebinto Grillo Sicilia Menfi DOC is an elegant white wine from the renowned Planeta winery, a production reality capable of faithfully enhancing the peculiarities of the Sicilian territory. This label is the result of the exclusive vinification of Grillo grapes, a white grape variety very common on the island. The vineyards enjoy the beneficial influence of sea breezes, which prevent the formation of pathologies in the vineyard. The vines, cultivated with the Guyot system, also benefit greatly from sun exposure and the mineral composition of the soil. In the first days of September the manual harvest takes place with selection of the healthiest bunches, which arrive in the cellar for pressing and alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures. The aging on the fine lees lasts 6 months and always takes place in steel tanks. Terebinto Grillo Sicilia Menfi DOC can give immense satisfaction as soon as it is bottled, even if it lends itself to a further evolution of 4-5 years.
