Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon
Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Brunate Barolo DOCG is one of the excellences of the Oddero winery, an appreciated reality of the Cuneo Langhe. This fine red wine is born in one of the most famous enological scenarios in Piedmont, which sees most of the company's vineyards located in La Morra. The DOCG certification and the organic method used since 2010 are two of the elements that most distinguish the label. At the base of the wine there is obviously the Nebbiolo blend, the true king of Piedmontese vineyards, used in 100% purity. The best bunches are selected at the beginning of October and brought to the company, with destemming and soft pressing. When the fermentation process is complete, the refinement period can begin, which involves aging for 30 months in French oak barriques. The long aging allows you to fully appreciate the tannic and refined content of the Barolo DOCG, which is grafted onto a fragrant bouquet with floral scents. For this reason, it is recommended to consume it after at least 3 or 4 years of aging in the cellar.
