Description
Derthona Timorasso Colli Tortonesi DOC is a fresh and fragrant white wine, made by the Piedmontese winery La Spinetta . It is the result of the single-variety vinification of Timorasso grapes, an autochthonous grape variety little known outside the denomination. The plots are located near Montemarzino and Montegioco. Here the vines find the ideal conditions to thrive, also thanks to the skilful work of the company which culminates in the manual harvest. Once in the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. The process continues with the alcoholic fermentation in steel vats at a monitored temperature. In the same containers the wine rests on the noble lees for about eight months before bottling. Perfect right from the start, Derthona Timorasso Colli Tortonesi DOC can reserve pleasant sensations even after a couple of years of evolution.
