Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Valtellina Superiore DOCG Prugnolo is a red wine from Valtellina. It bears the signature of the Aldo Rainoldi winery, one of the most historic wineries in the area. The wine is born 100% from Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) grapes, from vineyards located between 300 and 650 meters above sea level. This red is vinified according to the traditional method and is aged for about a year in barriques. Before arriving on the tables, the Valtellina Superiore DOCG Prugnolo is aged in the bottle for another nine months. This red by Aldo Rainoldi brings with it all the characteristics of the Chiavennasca in the glass. Its quality can be appreciated from a young age, but it must be known that aging enhances its peculiarities even more satisfactorily. On the palate the wine reveals all its freshness and elegant tannins. It is a perfect wine to be enjoyed during a formal dinner and some important occasions.
