Cabernet Franc 2.618 is one of the most famous and representative reds of the small Leuta winery, a productive jewel preciously set in the hills of Cortona, in the province of Arezzo. Starting from the name, we are inspired by the calculations of the Golden Section and its fascinating harmony. This mathematical inspiration and aptitude also determines the design of the label, while the harmony and coherence of these mathematical calculations, known since ancient times, are also sought after in wine production. For its maturation, for example, 7 new Allier oak barriques of different toastings are chosen. The wine is then born from the rigorous mixing of the contents of the barrels, each of which contributes in a different way to the final result. On the loamy soil of the Cortona area, pampered by the mild microclimate, the Cabernet Franc grapes ripen, enriching themselves with those scents that contribute to the intensity and richness that characterize the splendid 2.618, so soft and pleasant as to make this bottle unforgettable. The Leuta Cabernet Franc 2.618.is presented in the glass with an intense and consistent ruby red color. We catch hints of red fruits and sweet spices, notes of tobacco and dried fruit arrive.
