Description

The Passito Acininobili from the historic Maculan Venetian winery is a commendable sweet wine, produced from the vinification of 100% Vespaiola grapes from vineyards cultivated in the Breganze hills, in the Veneto IGT. A great passito wine that well represents the territory of origin, an excellent label that has obtained important awards, including that of the Veronelli Guide, which defined it as an excellent wine. Particularly surprising, this sweet wine has great longevity. Perfect to drink immediately, it is extraordinary left to mature in the cellar for several years. Produced from a careful manual selection of grapes affected by noble rot (Botritis cinerea), after vinification, the Passito Acininobili follows a maturation of 2 years in new Allier barriques, which give it the particular spicy notes that distinguish it. After the refinement period, the wine is bottled. However, before being placed on the market it still ages in glass for 6 months. The result is an elegant passito, with a full sip, which emerges for its excellent structure and its long persistence. An unmissable label.
