'Love and Folly' Toscana IGT Podere Le Ripi 2019

Amore e Follia Toscana IGT is a red wine produced by the Podere Le Ripi winery. It is obtained from the vinification of Syrah grapes only, an international variety that is expressed in an excellent way in the denomination. On clayey and calcareous soils the vines find the ideal environment to sink their roots and draw the necessary nourishment. The vines are cultivated with the spurred cordon system and with the Guyot system to maximize the benefits associated with the microclimate and sun exposure. The harvest with manual selection of the best bunches is followed by alcoholic fermentation in oak vats. This step involves the use of only indigenous yeasts and coincides with maceration on the skins for over a month. The refinement always takes place in oak barrels and lasts for two years and four months. Excellent already after bottling, Amore e Follia Toscana IGT is a red capable of reserving pleasant surprises even after 5-6 years of further evolution.
